What Happens at Evening Prayer?
Evening Prayer, or Vespers, follows a century-old format of hymns, psalms and Sacred Readings. It is not a Mass. We will meet the first 5 Sundays of Lent at 4:30 in the church. As we pray Evening Prayer at St. Joseph’s, we will also have a reflection each week, given by a member of our parish family:

February 26 –Chuck Kinney – RCIA team member, teacher of special First Communion class, Men’s group, Lector, Extraordinary Minister of Holy Communion will speak on Psalm 110 how each of us is called to serve our Church

March 4 – John Valenza – Chairperson of the Parish Pastoral Council will speak on what Lent means to me as a Catholic

March 11 – Marc Hudock – Lector and former Youth Minister will speak on 1Peter 2: 21-24.

March 18 – Alex Arias – Pastoral Associate will speak on Psalm 112 and your faith as a Catholic man and the example of Saint Joseph. This week will include Exposition of the Blessed Sacrament.

March 25 – Erin Clemente – Parish Pastoral Council, Extraordinary Minister of Holy Communion will speak on Acts 13: 26-30.

Please join us for one or more weeks as we raise our voices to the Lord in prayer and song!
